10lbs! We went to the doctor on Friday (he had a bunch of symptoms, or what I thought were symptoms, of a cold. he’s fine. :P) and they weighed him. my big boy! 
We went out today and even though mom and dad were very protective of him, in light of the sun, warm weather, and lots of people - we had a lot of fun. He was very good, and ate twice while we were up there like a champ. He didn’t care for the back of the car diaper change though 
He’s learned where his thumb is, and very messily attempts to get it in his mouth. He manages it most of the time, but about half of that time he doesn’t close his mouth around it - drool city!
Tonight he’s going to be watching the Nascar race with his father. He’s even dressed the part. We finally uploaded pictures. You can see them at the following locations:

That is so great that he is doing so well. I remember our first “big” trips out too!! What a scary thing to think about having to feed them in public where someone might see you. I so agree with you on that one, but we made and you will too. That is great that he is gaining weight so well. Enjoy your time with him and don’t rush back to work.
